The Story Behind the Name

We call it The Mark — or as we like to say, “The Streaker.” No numbers, no stripes, no distractions. Just full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather in its rawest, most confident form.

The name is a nod to Mark Roberts, who made his own kind of history at the 1995 Open Championship, just moments after John Daly clinched his playoff win at St Andrews. It was bold. Unfiltered. And impossible to ignore.

The Mark is for those who understand that sometimes, making a statement means stripping everything away.

Horween Dublin leather is a full-grain vegetable tanned leather with a rich tonal appearance that showcases the leather's natural grain, rugged with a rare combination of elegance and rustic character. This leather has a strong pull-up effect which causes the leather to lighten in color when stretched to produce a unique worn-in effect with time. A note on leather color variations: There may be a slight color variation with this leather. The oils and waxes can take differently due to a number of factors that will cause the color to vary from shipment-to-shipment. You will see the most variation withthe English Tan and Natural.
